Phagwara, December 24
Cambridge International School, Phagwara, in association with an NGO, ‘Goonj’, organised a donation campaign on the eve of Christmas. Students of primary classes donated winter clothes.
Parents also contributed for the noble cause. At a special assembly, students wear red and white coloured clothes and sang “Jingle Bell” and Christmas carols.
Principal Jorawar Singh said happiness lie in the joy of giving. An arts competition was also conducted for the students of primary classes to apprise them of the theme of Christmas.
Students decorated the corridors of the school. Chairman KS Bassi and MD KS Bains appreciated the efforts of the students, parents and teachers.
Chairman of I-League Education, Sanjeev Vassal, congratulated the team of the school.
