Eye hospital raided

Jalandhar, December 10

The Income Tax Department raided the premises of the Jalandhar-based Thind Eye Hospital here today.

In the rids - which are still ongoing - lead by the Ludhiana based wing of the Income Tax Department, the hospital proprietor's Jalandhar-based hospital, Jalandhar-based residence and Hoshiarpur-based hospital are being raided by the department.

The search by the department on the three premises is expected to continue until tomorrow evening. Sources said, the income tax returns had triggered the search into the premises.
