Fraud case: Actor Surveen Chawla joins probe

Hoshiarpur, May 31

Bollywood actress Surveen Chawla, who was booked in a fraud case filed by the father of the co-producer of film “Nil Batte Sannata”, along with her husband Akshay Thakkar and her brother Manvinder Chawla, reached here late on Thursday evening to join police investigation.

The accused reached the city police station and met the SHO of the police station inspector Lomesh Sharma. According to the police, they pleaded not guilty. Surveen told the police that they had no role in the case.
