GNA varsity inks pact with CIPET

GNA University, Phagwara, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) — a premier national institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India — to impart skill development training to the unemployed youth.
The MoU will enable students to work on latest research work on plastic and polymers. This will facilitate students of both the institutions to take up various academic programmes, including plastic product design, injection mould design, rapid prototyping, reverse engineering and MoldFlow analysis as well as faculty exchange programmes and research projects with each other.
Dr VK Rattan, Vice-Chancellor, GNA University, and CR Tripathy, Dean, Faculty of Design and Innovation from GNA University, and Dr Sandeep Rimza, Rajesh Maurya and Raj Shekhar from CIPET were present.
Dr Pradeep Upadhyaya, Principal, Director and Head of CIPET, appreciated S Gurdeep Singh Sihra’s CEO GNA Gears and Pro-Chancellor GNA University efforts towards providing latest technologies to the budding engineers, which will help them to achieve their desired goals. — OC
