Govt hospitals in K’thala inspected

Officials of the Union Health Ministry under the Common Review Mission (CRM) conducted a week-long inspection at government hospitals, including Civil Hospital and dispensaries, in Kapurthala district. 

The inspection was held under the supervision of the Joint Director Health, Sher Singh.

On the last day of the inspection, the Deputy Director Health, Punjab, and Kapurthala Civil Surgeon Dr HS Kahlon, along with Sher Singh, inspected government hospitals in the district,

The officials lauded the efforts of Dr HS Kahlon for ensuring cleanliness in hospitals in the district.

Dr Khalon stressed on the need for co-ordination between government departments and NGOs to spread awareness among the people about the prevention of various seasonal diseases.

Sher Singh said teams of the ministry under the CRM had visited 16 states in 2017 and two districts of each state were being inspected thoroughly. — OC
