HC Judge, officials discuss proposed plan to construct judicial complex

High Court Justice Kuldeep Singh, inspecting judge, visited Phagwara today, to assess the situation about the proposed new judicial complex.
He discussed the proposed plan to construct the new judicial complex or mini-secretariat with District and Sessions Judge, Kishore Kumar; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Legal Service, Sanjeev Kundi; Senior Architect, Tarun Garg; and XEN, Public Works Department, Varinder Kumar; Deputy Commissioner Mohammed Tayab; SDM Sumit Mudh; Senior Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Rajwant Kaur; and Harminder Syal, president, Bar Association, Phagwara.
The Superintendent of Police, Phagwara, Mandeep Singh, was present on the occasion. Though land of present veterinary hospital was also discussed for new Judicial Complex but most of the participants wanted new complex at the present site to facilitate the people.
Justice Kuldip Singh, after discussing the details with officials concerned and members of the Bar Association, Phagwara, said he would submit his report along with recommendations to Building Committee Chairman of the High Court Justice Surya Kant, next week to provide ultra-modern complex soon.
