Hindi calligraphy competition

Jalandhar: Shiv Jyoti Public School conducted handwriting competition in Hindi on its premises under the cynosure of the school management and principal Dr Ravi Suta and supervision of activity coordinator Veenu Aggarwal. Meenakshi Angrish, Manjeet Kaur and Jyoti Bala were the judges of the competition. Atharv (I-A), Gauranshi (I-B), Diya (I-C), Kerry (I-D), Prabhleen (II-A), Chirayu (II-B), Garima (II-C), Ishita (II-D), Drishti (III-A), Jiya (III-B), Anhad (III-C), Abhay Parmar (III-D) bagged the first position. A total of 10 students bagged the second position and five students stood third. Principal Dr Ravi Suta appreciated the efforts of the participants. TNS

No-tobacco Day 

Jalandhar: The NSS unit of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya observed No-Tobacco Day. Slogan-writing, poster-making and essay writing competitions were organised on the occasion. As many as 80 students participated in the contest. Principal Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged the students to participate in such competitions. The principal gave the prizes to the students. Pallavi Thakur secured the first position in essay writing competiton. Mehak Deep clinched the second position and Jaspreet bagged the third position. In slogan writing competition Baljot Kaut got the first position. Gurdev Kaur got the second position and Muskan Deep bagged the third position. In poster-making Manmeet bagged the first position. Amanpreet clinched the second position and Manraj Kaur remained second. TNS

Akta, Jaspreet top college 

Jalandhar: Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar,  maintained its glorious traditions of the past by achieving excellent result in the university BEd examination (sem III).  Akta Kaushal and Jaspreet Kalra bagged the first position in the college. Harsimran Kochhar achieved the second position and Radhika Wason got the third position. Principal Dr Arjinder Singh appreciated the students and teachers on achieving the distinction. TNS
