Yan Dhanda, a British football player, today visited the corporate office and factories of Nivia, a sports equipment brand here.

Yan visited all manufacturing facilities and inaugurated the Nivia customer experience centre at their newly constructed head office.

“Yan is the rising Indian origin star in the highly competitive English football. And it is a matter of pride for Nivia that we today are welcoming this “UK da Punjabi munda” to inaugurate our customer experience centre. We wish him all the best and hope to see him more successful in his career” said Rajesh Kharabanda, chairman of the group.

Yan was born in Birmingham, England. He is the first Indian player to sign with Liverpool football team.

He is one of the top rising European football players and was awarded ‘Up and Coming Asian Player of the Year’ by the Asian Football Awards in 2013.

Yan plays the game professionally for teams such as Liverpool FC and Swansea City.

In August 2018, Yan made his debut with Swansea city team as a substitute and came out to be a winner as he scored the winning goal for his team.
