‘Jalandhar Heights’ police post inaugurated by CP

Jalandhar, August 18

The Police Commissionerate of Jalandhar today inaugurated a new police post at the 66-ft road. This post was named as ‘Jalandhar Heights’ police post. This will be a sub post of Division No. 7 police.

Commissioner of Police (CP) Arpit Shukla inaugurated the post in the presence of other senior officials. Shukla said this was the demand of the residents. Now, with the opening of this post, the people residing near the 66-ft road can submit their complaints at this post and get speedy resolutions. Sub-Inspector Veer Singh has been appointed as the incharge of the police post.

Resident of the area on this occasion said it was a good initiative on the part of the Jalandhar police.

“Earlier, we had to travel to the Division No. 7 police station to seek help. Due to the distance, sometimes officials could not reach on time. Now, with the opening of this post, all residents will approach police conveniently,” said a local resident.
