Unable to pay her fee at the private college where she went to study in Class XI, Jasleen had to opt out of studies because her father couldn’t pay the exorbitant fee. However, on being guided by her teachers, she opted for the meritorious school Jalandhar, where she studied the medical stream and has bagged the top honour now.

“I am feeling very nice. It’s a dream come true for me. My father has been very supportive all through and always sustained my education. I now want to opt for either BSc or pharmacy,” she said.

While she also appeared for the NEET exams, she is also keeping her fingers crossed for the outcome of the same. She gave the credit for her result to her teachers at the meritorious school and her parents.
