On the occasion of World Wetland Day, Kanjli was today cleared of water hyacinth and under water vegetation by environmentalist Balbir Singh Seechewal and his team.

Seechewal during the visit to the wetland used JCB machine removed the hyacinth and underwater vegetation and made visible the water flowing in the rivulet.

Kanjli, which has a huge potential for attracting tourists, has remained neglected by the administration and the tourism department.
