Lawyers protest amendment in Advocates Act

The District Bar Association today opposed the recommendation of the Law Commissioner of India sent to the Centre with regard to amendment in Advocates Act, 1961, by way of proposing the Advocate Amendment Bill, 2017. While informing this, Baldev Ralh, president, District Bar Association of Jalandhar said a protest rally would be organised on May 2 at New Delhi to oppose the move. —TNS
