LPU signs MoU with French organisation

Aiming to provide global opportunities to students and staff, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MoU) with a French organisation ‘Alliance Française’.

The collaboration will also help LPU students to gear themselves up for international exam of French language ‘DELF’. DELF- DALF are the diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to improve the French-language skills for non-French candidates.

With this MoU, studying in France will become easier. On being fluent in French, LPU students will have an opportunity to go for higher studies or exchange programmes with leading French Universities.

Alliance Française (Chandigarh) and LPU, the Director of Alliance Française, Sylvain Choin and Senior Dean of LPU School of Applied Medical Sciences Dr Monica Gulati signed the MoU.

The alliance will not only help students but faculty members of France as well, as they will be invited by Alliance Française (Chandigarh) to attend various teacher training programmes.

Director, Division of International Affairs at LPU, Aman Mittal said: “We already have tie-ups with top French Institutions of high-learning, including the INSEEC Business School and IMT Lille Douai- one of an IMT school of the leading group of engineering and management schools in France.”

“LPU provides an opportunity to its students in 200+ international universities for student exchange and other mobility programmes. Every year, hundreds of students from LPU visit the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.” he added.

Mittal said: “In this regard, scholarship-based semester abroad programme is also available for meritorious students,” added Mittal.
