A student of Mittal School of Business at Lovely Professional University (LPU) has got a direct entry to FBB Campus Princess Finale Pageant, which is to be held in Mumbai. Ishnoor Kaur (Rattan), a BCom (International Finance) first year student, will now get fast-tracked to the ‘Femina Miss India 2020 Pageant’.

Ishnoor, hailing from Phagwara, aspires to be a renowned business woman internationally. She had also contested for Miss Fresher at LPU and was a runners-up.

Student organisation Spade & Atan Dharya had organised zonal rounds for “FBB Campus Princess 2020”, under the aegis of Division of Student Welfare, at Shanti Devi Mittal auditorium of the university.

Femina Miss India United Continents (2017) Sana Dua; FBB Colors Miss India Punjab (2019) Harnazz Sandhu; and Bennett Nathan, head, Campus Princess event adjudged 150 plus participants from across the zone. Palak Sharma and Tiksha Taggar, from two other educational institutions of Himachal, have also been selected.

An 18-year-old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, Ishnoor thanks her teachers for their support and is now inspiring fellow students, “Always be your true self. Identify your passion and weaknesses and do not let your weaknesses dwarf your passion. I wear spectacles but it could not stop me from participating in the pageant. Everything is possible if you believe in yourself. Overpower your flaws and avail every opportunity.”

In fact, Campus Princess’ initiative empowers promising talent by engaging with the student community. The initiative is now a big thing as it is travelling to many prestigious institutions in India, including IITs, AIIMS, NITs, LPU and more, in search of best talent.
