Man falls from train, dies

Jalandhar, January 18

Surjeet Goswami (28), a resident of Khandsa village in Faizabad, was killed after falling from the Jan Saadharan Express train early this morning at the city railway station. He fell as he tried to get down from the moving train. Although he was taken to the Civil Hospital and later to a private hospital, he died due to serious injuries.

The GRP has registered a case in the matter. — TNS
