Man held for fraud

The Chotti Baradari police today nabbed an agent, Ravi Kumar, a resident of Deep nagar area, for allegedly making a fraudulent driving licence of Divyank Sharma, a resident of Defence Colony on the basis of a medical certificate made by Dr Gurbax Singh of Jandu Singha village.

The police acted after receiving a complaint from Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav. According to ASI Jatinder Singh, Ravi during investigation had confessed that he got the medical certificate made fraudulently even without taking Divyank to the doctor. While the doctor has been released on interim bail, the police officials are on the lookout of Divyank Sharma. The police have registered a case under Sections 420, 468, 120 of the IPC and Section 15 of the Indian Medical council Act.
