To reflect the ideals and principles of Bhagat Singh, a movie, ‘Bhagat Singh Di Udeek’, will be released on February 2. Shivamm Sharma, the director of the movie, who has also debuted through this movie, said, “The movie revolves around a revenge drama and will reflect the dilemmas and problems faced by the society. The issue of drug problem in Punjab has already caught the attention of the Bollywood. This movie goes a step ahead and will tell the youth to take a stand and bring about a revolution to end our issues.”
This will help to change the notion that Punjab is synonyms to drugs, he added. The movie stars newcomer actor Arsh Chawla in the lead role and will also mark the first performances of the lead actresses Khushi Malhotra and Surbhi Singla. The producers of the film said, “Udeek talks about the mindset of our society, where we are waiting for a leader to make a change. But we realise that we are the youth who have that power.”
