Jalandhar, December 18
Development work worth 7.38 lakh started at Raipur Arayan village in Phillaur Vidhan Sabha constituency through MPLAD fund.
Member of Parliament Santokh Singh Chaudhary, along with PPCC general secretary Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary and supporters, inaugurated a water drain project at the village.
Santokh Singh Chaudhary said the present state government had failed to provide basic facilities in the villages. He assured to extend every possible help in uplifting and developing every area under his parliamentary constituency.
Earlier during the day, Chaudhary participated in an annual function at Gurdwara Guru Ravidass, Phillaur.
