New route plan for Chintpurni pilgrims during mela

Phagwara: The Punjab and Himachal Pradesh administration have have announced an elaborate arrangement to control the huge rush of the devotees and to facilitate them during the Chintpurni mela scheduled to be held from August 11 to August 20.

One-way traffic would be implemented to manage the influx of devotees. The pilgrims would go to Chintpurni from Hoshiarpur on Hoshiarpur-Gagret-Mubarakpur—Chintpurni road, but on their return, the traffic would be diverted from Mubarakpur to Amb—Una—Hoshiarpur route. —OC
