The deceased has been identified as Kulwinder Singh Mand (60), a resident of Alawalpur. The victim was the owner of Aashiana Marriage Palace located at Beas Pind. The bullet pierced through Mand’s head following which he died on the spot.

It is pertinent to mention that this was the second incident in which a person died due to accidental fire. On June 1, the CIA Sub-Inspector Vipin Kumar (52), reportedly died while cleaning his service revolver. Vipin was found unconscious in his car parked outside his residence at Model House.
