Srinagar’s Rehmat wins Miss PTC Punjabi title

The finale of Miss PTC Punjabi was organised on the campus of Lovely Professional University (LPU) on Sunday. The event was witnessed by many celebrities from Bollywood and Punjabi music and film Industry.
The show was a celebration of ‘Punjabiyat’ that embodies every Punjabi woman. Entries were invited from Punjab, Chandigarh and Delhi. The shortlisted contestants competed on various parameters like solo acting, cooking, dancing, theme acting, outdoor and household tasks and many more in studio rounds.
Gurjit Singh hosted the grand finale. Zora Randhawa, Neha Basin, Gurnam Bhullar, Ninja, Jazzy B and other artistes performed at the event. The jury for the finale comprised of Neha Bhasin, Satinder Satti, Gurpreet Chaddha and Bobey Layal.
Tough elimination rounds have narrowed down the competition from thousands of enterprising and talented participants to nine finalists, and the one who walked away with not only Miss PTC Punjabi crown but also a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh was none other than Rehmat Rattan from Srinagar.
Sukhroop Kaur from Ludhiana remained the first runner-up and was awarded Rs 50K as cash prize. Supreet Kaur from Balachaur won the title of the second runner-up with a cash prize for Rs 35K. Dilpreet Kaur of Malerkotla won the ‘Giddeyan di Rani’ title. Jasmehak Kaur Mohie of Ludhiana was declared the most ‘Sugarh Syani girl’. Amritsar girls Simarpreet Kaur and Hargunpreet Kaur won the Gorgeous Hair and Glowing Face titles.
