Nirmaan school celebrates annual day

Annual day celebrations were observed at Nirmaan School for holistic education. It was celebrated in two parts- kindergarten and junior wing with a common theme of “Our culture is our roots- preserve it.” Sanjeev Sharma, Deputy Director Land Records, Punjab, was the chief guest on the occasion. Sonia Sharma was the guest of honour. The annual report was presented by Harvinder Kaur, principal Nirmaan. Gurpartap Singh Wadala, MLA, was the chief guest of second part of function.Advocate Avatar Singh Kaler, Nakodar courts was the guest of honour. Prof Lakhbir Singh, president Nirmaan School and Avatar Singh Kaler also addressed the audience. Outstanding students were awarded by Sanjeev Sharma, Sonia Sharma, S Gurpartap Singh Wadala MLA, Avatar Singh Kaler, Harvinder Kaur, Prof Lakhbir Singh and Inderjeet Kaur.

Awareness rally

Students of St Soldier Divine Public School, Dhina branch, today organised an awareness rally on the topic " Right to Education" in Dhina village. As many as 200 students participated in the event under the guidance of principal Jyoti Shrivastava. Students carried posters and banners and wrote messages. The prinicpal appreciated the efforts of the students.

Grandparents Day

Mayor World School celebrated “Grandparents Day” on the eve of its annual day function. Students of Class I to Class V participated in the programme at the open theatre of the school with great pomp and show. Amarjit Singh Samra, former Cabinet Minister, Punjab, was the chief guest of the day who was accompanied by the guest of honour Gurpreet Singh Kheira, (PCS) Chief Administrative (JDA) and Commissioner Corporation Jalandhar. The function started with lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest and the guest of honour accompanied by the chairman, Rajesh Mayor, CEO, Neerza Mayor, director Jyoti Nagranee. The grandparents’ song enthralled the audience. Students enacted an English play “The Dear Departed”.
