Now, residents can get Aadhaar updated at Head Post Office

Jalandhar, August 2
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma, along with senior superintendent of the post offices Mohammad Hanif and senior postmaster AK Garg, inaugurated an Aadhaar service centre at Head Post Office here today.
Residents can get their Aadhaar details updated at the centre. They can also get print out of the same.
The Department of Posts and Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) are jointly providing the service for public’s convenience.
Residents can avail the services like update of date of birth, address, mobile number and email id. The current status of Aadhaar, along with all other queries and information, can also be checked at the centre.
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma said, “The service will prove to be beneficial for the public.”
He thanked the Department of Posts for taking the initiative. The DC urged the authorities to start the facility at all post offices in the Jalandhar division.
