National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) have tied-up and launched joint MBA and BBA financial market programmes.
From this session, these management programmes will provide practical knowledge and skills required to operate in the financial markets. Students will also receive NSE’s Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM) as Industry Skill Certification. First of its kind in the northern region, this prestigious collaboration will enable students to get academic and employable skills to enter major banks, rapidly growing financial markets and to become entrepreneurs.
Senior assistant vice-president and head of the northern region, NSE, Rana Usman, said: “NSE will provide contents, curriculum and access to the software for making students industry ready and prepare them to work in stock exchanges and international markets. This will help industry also as it will be able to recruit job ready stock-market professionals that will save time and resources required on training new employees.”
LPU Chancellor Ashok Mittal said, “The collaboration with NSE will certainly pave a great way for students to have bright career prospects in flourishing financial markets. The NSE will also provide special training to both the LPU faculty and students for specialised courses.”
