IK Gujral Punjab Technical University has started its online centralised counselling with the fee deposition process.
The courses approved for the same by the AICTE include BTech, BArch and BPharmacy (first-year).
The admission to these courses for which Rs 2,000 is being levied for counselling are being offered on the campus as well as in affiliated colleges.
The university spokesperson said the university had started its academic campus last year only. The courses like BTech, MTech, MBA, MSc. (mathematics), Food Technology and Journalism were being taken on the university campus, he added.
The spokeperson said the university would spend Rs 1 crore more on the infrastructure development till July 31. The amount would be spent on the development of laboratory, hostel and classrooms, he added.
In addition, the process of admission to distance courses and PhD has commenced.
