‘PF Apke Dwaar’ campaign launched

Launching an initiative to aware labourers working in industrial organisations, the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) today kick started a campaign ‘PF apke dwaar’ (PF at your doorsteps). The campaign will be conducted in industrial areas and focal points of the Doaba region, comprising Jalandhar, Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur, where hundreds of workers would be made aware about their PF rights.

Dheeraj Gupta, regional PF Commissioner, said this campaign was being organised in collaboration with the employers’ associations and would be attended by workers and employers at large.

“The primary focus of the campaign was on familiarising the PF subscribers with the Universal Account Number (UAN) and the various benefits available to the subscribers through the medium of UAN,” said a PF official.

In today’s camp conducted at Bhagwan Vishkarma temple, Focal Point, Jalandhar, over 100 employers and 200 employees participated. On May 18, camp would be organised at DSSD Girls Senior Secondary School, Industrial Area Jalandhar, on May 19 at Water Tank Park, sports and surgical complex Jalandhar, on May 21 at Association Hall, Focal Point Hoshiarpur, on May 22 at Sonalika Agro Training Centre, Industrial Area Jalanhdar, on May 23 Fine Switchgear Industrial Area Jalandhar and on May 25 camp would be organised at SSK industries Kapurthala.
