Jalandhar, November 22

North Zone Inter-University tournament is ongoing at Lovely Professional University (LPU). Continuing their winning spree, on the fourth day of North Zone Inter-University Badminton Tournament (Women) 2018, Maharshi Dayanand University Rohtak; Punjabi University, Patiala; Panjab University, Chandigarh; and University of Delhi topped their respective pool match and won straight sets.

Sports in charge of LPU, Dr V Kaul, said:

“As per the schedule of the Association of Indian Universities’ Inter-University Sports Board of India, the tournament will conclude on November 24. The matches are being played on league-cum-knockout basis.

Results of the day

In Pool A, Mahrishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, get the best of Dr Ambedkar University, Agra.

Punjabi University, Patiala, beat Kurukshetra University in Pool B.

Panjab University, Chandigarh, beat Ashoka University, Sonipat, in Pool C.

University of Delhi defeated HNB University, Garhwal, in Pool D.
