Jalandhar, January 7
The Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) has got registered with the Election Commission of India before the State Assembly elections. The party has been allotted with ‘Pot’ as an election symbol to contest at 13 seats in the state.
RMPI general secretary Mangat Ram Pasla said the party had started campaigning at all 13 seats after the election symbol was allotted. He said, “We had given a list of election symbols to the Election Commission out of which the ‘Pot’ has been granted to us.”
Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI), was introduced in Jalandhar in September by Mangat Ram Pasla, secretary, CPM (Punjab), along with delegates from 10 other states of the country.
