Punjab Gramin Bank, a regional rural bank sponsored by Punjab National Bank, launched its Insurance Business Operation with PNB MetLife. It will enable Punjab Gramin Bank to provide world-class life insurance solutions to its more than 17 lakh customers through its 269 branches spread across 13 districts of Punjab.
Apart from this, the bank, headquartered in Kapurthala, has planned to open five more branches, during current financial year.
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Kumar Sharma, chairman, Punjab Gramin Bank said," Our Bank has over the years worked towards the betterment of the livelihood of rural customers by providing all sort of banking and insurance services and thus developed into a credible institution. We look forward our alliance with PNB MetLife, as a provision of superior quality insurance related products under one roof to our customers. We are committed to inclusive growth of our customers."
