Rubber factory gutted in Dada Colony

A massive fire broke out at a rubber factory in the Dada Colony Industrial area here today. Today being Sunday, the factory was closed due to which no loss of life was reported in the incident.
According to sub fire officer Rajinder Sharma, the fire was so huge that 10 tenders were rushed to the spot quickly. Each one of these made multiple rounds to douse the flames which reduced the entire factory to ashes.
According to witnesses, the flames began to engulf other areas as well due to which nearby areas were vacated immediately.
It took the Fire Department five to six hours to control the fire.
