Manveen of KMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School won the first prize in declamation contest in inter-school declamation contest organised by the Rotary Club of Jalandhar. She spoke on the topic “Proud to be Indian”. A good number of students from various schools participated in the event. Among all participants Manveen was declared the best speaker. Principal Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Manveen and said in this age of competition it was must for every student to improve speaking skills.tns
Summer camp
Students at Sanskriti KMV School had a vibrant beginning of the 10-day summer camp. With a wide range of activity clubs, the school welcomed the students in the age group of 4 to 15 years. The school is providing specialised sports coaching, adventure drills, art skills, performing arts, dance, literary clubs, scientific, logical and mathematical skill development, said Principal Rachna Monga. tns
