Red Cross Day celebrated
Jalandhar: Darshan Academy, Jalandhar, celebrated Red Cross Day. There was inter-house poster-making competition. Teachers told about the celebration of World Red Cross Day to students. The students prepared colorful posters. The students prepared first aid box for the school to alleviate problems or emergency, during school hours. Inter-house football match
Jalandhar: An inter-house football match was held at the State Public School, Jalandhar Cantt. Students of all four houses participated in the event. The competition was aimed to make students sensitise towards the importance of sports in their life. Sahibzada Ajit Singh house bagged the first position. Card-making competition
Jalandhar: Shiv Jyoti Public School, under the patronage of the managing committee and guidance of principal Dr Ravi Suta, organised an inter-house card-making competition for Class VI to VIII on the school premises. As many as 36 students participated in the competition. Judges Bhavna Sabharwal and Suman Khanna adjudged Gaurav Sahni (VI-A), Geetali (VII-A) and Shivom (VIII-A) on the first position. Khwaish (VI-A), Somya (VII-A) and Kashish (VIII-C) bagged the second position. Vani (VI-B) and Jaskaran Chopra (VII-C) clinched the third position. TNS

Jalandhar: Students of Class V of Kamla Nehru Primary School students donated different usable things - clothes, toys, stationary, blankets and clothes to ‘Goonj Charitable Organisation.’ The activity was undertaken by Class III students for the project-‘Kindness’ under the school event ‘Learning Market Place’.TNS
