Swami Sant Dass Public School

Jalandhar: Swami Sant Dass Public School hosted its  annual day celebration on November 3 with gusto.  Col Kulwant Singh, Commanding Officer, 8 Punjab BN NCC, Phagwara, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the recital of school ‘shabad’. Principal, Anju Mehta, welcomed the  guests. She read the annual report of the school.The chief guest distributed prizes among meritorious students. Students presented ‘Bhangra, and ,Giddha’. The chief guest addressed the gathering sharing his views on futuristic vision.TNS

Shiv Jyoti Public School

Jalandhar: Students of Shiv Jyoti Public School participated in ‘Bharat ko Janno’ competition held at Jalandhar Model School at the district-level, under the patronage of school management and principal Dr Ravi Suta. Stuti Sharma, Divyanshu Chadha, won the second prize in junior group.In the senior group Prasoon Misra and Arjun, clinched the second position.
