Star cast of Guddiyaan Patole comes calling

The star cast of the upcoming Punjabi movie Guddiyaan Patole paid a visit to the city today.

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film is a romantic comedy starring Gurnam Bhullar and Sonam Bajwa in the lead role. Written by the ‘Qismat’-fame director Jagdeep Sidhu, the movie has been produced by Bhagwant Virk and Nav Virk.

The movie also has Tania and Nirmal Rishi in pivotal roles. The lead actor and singer, Gurnam Bhullar, said I am glad with the response that we received after the trailer was launched and all songs released so far had gone well with the audience.I am hopeful that the audience would like my work in the film as an actor.

Sonam Bajwa said: “It is a story about two sisters, who go back to Punjab from Canada to meet their grandparents. The movie has some good punches with a ‘Tadka’ of romance.”

The Director, Vijay Kumar Arora, said: “As the film is a mixture of entertaining punches and jokes, audience will have really good time enjoying the storyline.”

“I believe that filmmaking is an art and there is an unlimited scope of experiment and innovation for which a director is always ready”, he added.

The movie has six songs written by Gurnam Bhullar, Garry Vander, Vicky Dhaliwal and Harinder Kaur sung by Ammy Virk, Gurnam Bhullar and Gulrez Akhtar.
