Rabbi Kandola said: “Breaking the usual norm of producing Punjabi romantic comedy routine, the film is a drama, based on real life stories of bravery and selfless struggle for freedom of Punjab from the British army. It is something that the youth of Punjab needs today. We visited families of the martyrs a few days ago and were shocked to see them not getting due recognition, despite contributing a lot to the freedom struggle.”

Jagjeet Sandhu said: “I have never done a film like this before. It was a new experience with a challenge to show something different to my audience. Also, when it comes to a producer like Hema Malini and director Hriday Sheetty, I do not need to think much for saying yes to the film”. The film is releasing on August 23 worldwide.
