Students honoured on Bhagwan Parshu Ram Jayanti

Brahman Sabha of Kapurthala today celebrated Bhagwan Shri Parshram Jayanti with fervour and gaiety. A function was organised by Brahmin Sabha at Shri Ram Nath Mandir, Model Town, Kapurthala.

A hawan was performed followed by Shri Sunder Kand Path and a kirtan by Shri Hare Krishna Parchar Samiti through Swami Arun Sangar and his aides.

The function began with the welcome address by president of sabha Mangat Ram Kalia followed by a knowledge full speech by a learned Scholar Dr Ashwani Sharma who threw light over the life of Bhagwan Shri Parshu Ram. Dr Anu Rattan and Dr Atul Rattan were chief guests on the occasion.

On the occasion, a few brilliant students who brought laurel for their families and exemplary personalities were also honoured. Two youths, Alka Kalia and Dr Mrinal Sharma, who cleared PCS exam-2015 securing 9th and 58th positions, respectively were honoured. Student Vinayak Sangar who managed to get admission in IIT College, Mandi, was also honoured.

Chief trustee of sabha Dr Ranbir Kaushal thanked all the members and guests.
