Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma has said travel agents, immigration consultants and ticket agents across the district must obtain licences for their work and also warned that the district administration would initiate stern action against the persons working without licences.

Sharma said for registration, applicants would be able to get all kinds of forms and list of required documents from the sewa kendras in the district on any working day. Appealing to people to deal only with the registered travel agents, Sharma said in case of any complaint, people must approach the Commissioner of Police/ SSP Rural, Jalandhar. — TNS
