University students dance to the tune of Jasmine Sandlas

JALANDHAR: Lovely Professional University (LPU) organised a ‘Gaana’ Campus Connect Live Music Concert at its Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis Auditorium.

Bollywood singer Jasmine Sandlas performs on famous Hindi songs with students on the campus of Lovely Professional University near Jalandhar on Thursday.

Lovely Professional University (LPU) organised a ‘Gaana’ Campus Connect Live Music Concert at its Baldev Raj Mittal Unipolis Auditorium. As many as 30,000 students were present during the programme.

Bollywood singer and writer, Jasmine Sandlas, performed on the occasion. The students also got an opportunity to perform along with visiting star singers and music composers Jasmine and B Praak, on the enchanting tunes of popular NISSI Band. Students of The Department of Journalism, Film Production and Performing Arts interacted with the artists.

Jasmine presented many of her hits including ‘Ishq Da Sutta’, ‘Raat Jashan Di’ and ‘Muskan’ besides other from her famous albums.

Interacting with students, Jasmine said, “I always had bigger dreams to create music and make a name for myself. So, I always felt the urge to express myself through writing and creating melodies, and found myself coming to music over and over again. Now, my goal is to make good quality music that fans like you love.”

On asking by students what she considers about life, Jasmine said “Always keep in mind that life is full of beautiful surprises and mine is one of them. Once I was a little girl from Punjab to California with dreams larger than life.”
