Yoga camp
The yoga and meditation club of Dr BR Ambedkar NIT, Jalandhar, under the guidance of coordinators Dr LP Singh, Dr Viney Midha and Dr Mamta Khosla, and Dean Student Welfare Dr Jaspal Singh organised a camp from October 19 to 26. The sessions are being taken by Rajneesh Kumar, Pryiavrat Shahstri and Krishan Lal, the local representatives of Patanjali Samiti, Jalandhar. Students and research scholars, faculty and staff are participating in the camp.
Cricket tournament
SSIET, Dera Bassi, have won gold in women cricket tournament organised by IK Gujral Punjab Technical University at the DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology Jalandhar. Four teams participated in the tournament. Final competition was held between SSIET, Dera Bassi, and DAVIET. DAVIET Principal Manoj Kumar congratulated the wining team. —TNS
