Today’s generation is excited to know about every concept and reason behind all small things that are taking place in their lives.
To infuse the curiosity to learn science and technology in them, a two-day workshop on various science phenomena and electronic concepts concluded at Fun Factory here today.
As many as 20 participants in the age-group less than 19 years attended the workshop. Besides the 20 participants, Ramneek Handa (40) also attended the workshop. He has just entered into the business of manufacturing LED lights.
He wants to know more about micro-controllers and control circuits used in designing equipment.
Practice sessions were held during the workshop to discover how technology works. The resource person for the workshop was Kulbhushan Chand, a PhD scholar in electronics.
Mantej Singh, a student of Cambridge International School, was one of the participants at the workshop. He said, “We see various things around us and we feel how these things work such as traffic signal. The answers of such questions are explained in books. But we were never able to relate it as good as we did in the workshop. We were given projects and we operated many models.” The parents of students also shared their feedback and praised the workshop. They said there were many workshops on acting, singing, dancing, reading and writing but this electronics workshop was quite different. They said the workshop had worked towards bringing children close to technology.
