3-day Maha Shivratri mela begins at Shiv Khori shrine

A three-day Maha Shivratri mela started at Ransoo base camp of Shiv Khori shrine here on Sunday.

The mela was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Indu Chib, who is also the vice-chairperson of the Shiv Khori shrine Board.

The festival is celebrated on the eve of Maha Shivratri every year. A number of pilgrims from different parts of the county visit this cave shrine to seek blessings of Lord Shiva.
