963 qualify KAS (Mains) examination

The J&K Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Tuesday declared the result of the J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination-2016.

As per Khalid Majeed, Controller of Examinations, JKPSC, of the 6,427 candidates, who appeared in the exam, 963 have qualified for the personality test and viva-voce.

He said the examination was conducted from July 2 to August 8 this year and the result has been announced within a record period of about four months which, he claimed, was a maiden achievement in the annals of the commission.

Khalid said the personality test or interview would commence from December 20 and the detailed schedule in this regard shall be notified by the JKPSC shortly. — TNS
