“What’s most interesting in the app is the ‘Launch your Book’ feature that will also enable writers to showcase their books,” said Aayushman Jamwal, trust adviser.

The trust also unveiled a Dogri music video — “Aayi Khushboo”. Shot at the Surinsar lake, the lyrics are penned by Kunwar Viyogi and choreographed by Kathak dancer Sanchita Abrol and sung by Jitender Singh Jamwal.

Moreover, the digital book hosts sonnet recitation by renowned Dogri writers.

Tool to understand, learn language

  • The app is a technological invention of the Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust under its ‘Save the Language’ campaign
  • It will enable people to learn, understand and converse in Dogri
  • Apart from learning tools, the app also hosts Dogri music and videos
