Art academy holds music competition

Jammu: The J&K Academy of Art, Culture & languages (JKAACL) organised an on-the-spot music competition in which more than 150 children from various schools and music institutions took part. Students of Jammu Sanskriti School won awards in various categories. Students who won prizes include Namanpreet Kour, Nishant Sharma, Tejasvi Virdhi and Sara Choudhary. Meanwhile, students of Delhi Public School, Jammu, who bagged positions are Sarvaan Gupta, Ridhima Bajpai, Saanvi Anand, Sarthak Modi, Gourant Abrol and Divyam Sharma. TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
