Border Road Organisation (BRO) Director General Lt Gen Harpal Singh arrived in the Leh district of Ladakh on Sunday to take stock of construction activities of various strategic road networks that are vital to Army movement in the region.
He is on five-day visit to Ladakh to take stock of all the construction activities of various strategic road networks constructed and maintained by Project Himank and Project Vijayak in the Ladakh sector.
He is likely to visit eastern and the western sectors of Ladakh where he will take stock of the development of roads vital for the movement of troops.

During his visit, the BRO Director General will interact with top Army brass and the local administration to discuss various issues involved in the development of road connectivity which is required for meeting the development of the region.
The Chief Engineer Himank and Vijayak will brief him about the measures taken by the respective projects in bringing about connectivity to unconnected areas.
