City’s Mahira in Bigg Boss 13

Mahira Sharma, 21, who is fresh entry into Bigg Boss season 13, is a Jammu-born girl who started her career in art and entertainment with dancing. At a tender age, she along with her family shifted to Mumbai where she picked up acting and modelling as her career.

Mahira is a renowned TikTok Star and actress, who made her acting debut through television series “Y.A.R.O. Ka Tashan” in 2016. Post that, she was seen in famous series such as “Kundali Bhagya”, and “Naagin” among others. However, she has gained maximum popularity through her TikTok videos.

Not much is known about Mahira’s birth and schooling as her father is a businessman from Mumbai. After a few years in Jammu, Mahira along with her parents moved to Mumbai. However, sources claim she did her schooling from Presentation Convent School, Gandhi Nagar, before her family shifted to Mumbai.

Mahira has also appeared in a few Punjabi music videos such as “Supna” and “Jaane Kyun”. Both the videos have garnered millions of views on YouTube. She is currently seen in Balaji production’s serial titled “Naagin 3”.

She is also known for her television appearance in famous shows such as “Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double” and “Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma” and has been a part of the TV reality show “MTV date to remember” in 2018 as the judge of the show.

“We are proud of her. Though Mahira and her family shifted to Mumbai, Jammu is her hometown,” said Kusum Tickoo, a senior theatre artiste.
