Families of 14 slain Central Reserve Police Force personnel, who were killed in various gun fights across the country, were honoured by the CRPF during a “warriors’ remembrance” function held here today.

It is for the first time that the CRPF held a remembrance function to honour the widows of the personnel from Kashmir, who died while fighting militants in the state and other parts of the country. “From now on it will be an annual feature,” said Inspector General, CRPF, Atul Karwal.
