Jammu sculptors part of national camp

Ganesh Sharma and Vikas Khajuria, well-known sculptors from Jammu, are participating in the National Wood Sculptors' Camp being organised by the North Zone Cultural Centre and the Chandigarh administration at Kalagram, Chandigarh.

Sixteen sculptors from the country are participating in the event.

Ganesh has participated in art camps and exhibitions at the state, national and international levels. He has been honoured by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Jammu; Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar; and the Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi.

Vikas is proficient in many styles such as mural, installation and monumental sculpture. Recently, he participated in the International Art Camp in Romania.
