The Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) has decided to start night service between Srinagar and Jammu after August 15.
The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Asgar Hassan Samoon, Principal Secretary, Transport Department. It was stated that people were facing a lot of difficulties to reach Jammu and Srinagar due to non-availability of night service. Therefore, it is important that a service of this sort be started.
The Principal Secretary, Transport Department. directed officials to dedicate two luxurious buses to ensure smooth journey to commuters at night.
