Jammu, May 21
Lalit Mahajan was today re-elected as the president of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA). Mahajan got 168 votes while runner-up Annil Suri got 67 votes.
The BBIA election for the term 2017-19 was conducted by election commissioners Taranjit Singh Sahni, Atul Modi and Ram Langer. Total votes polled were 236. Suresh Mahajan was elected unopposed as the senior vice-president, Varun Singla was elected the vice-president, Ajay Langer was elected the general secretary, Vivek Singhal was elected the secretary and Viraaj Malhotra was elected the treasurer. —TNS
